Andrij Roman Antiques has its roots in the antique business since 1995. Founded by Andrij and Diana Onyshkewych, it began with retail stores in Brookfield and Wilton, CT. As offerings of merchandise upgraded to 18-19th C. antiques and accessories, the couple learned that they needed to reach a broader market of buyers than their fixed, retail locations could.

In 2000 they branched away from retail stores and started selling at specialized antique shows, select auctions and assorted antique and flea markets. Sure enough, people who love antiques and buy antiques are attending these events in large numbers!

Andrij Roman Antiques has now focused entirely on selling through antique shows, auctions and privately. In between shows, clients are kept informed of new inventory personally and through emails!

Our inventory is turned over constantly, making it impossible to post current inventory.  Both buyers and sellers can see in the various photographs the diverse array of items we buy and sell.

Andrij Roman Onyshkewych

Andy grew up with art and in museums. He is the son of Ukrainian painter, Zenowij Onyshkewych. As a result, he brings his lifelong experience, knowledge and insight of fine art to the company. He has developed a passion for period furniture, American Art Pottery and sterling. Andy is knowledgeable, straight forward and easy to work with!

Diana Onyshkewych

Diana was shopping at thrift stores and tag sales at age five. She is an experienced auctioneer, having ‘called’ over 100 auctions in CT and NY. She has extensive knowledge of antique furniture, porcelain & crystal, Decorative Arts, Modern and lighting. Diana is a qualified business manager and estate liquidator. She’s energetic, detail oriented and takes pride in her work!
